PAINTINGS & DRAWINGS
Drawing allows me to make immediate marks without the filter of intellect.
I find the isolated act of painting to be a rare time to share with myself - painting has became a contemplative place for me to digest the world, to query an emotional connection with myself, and to interrogate the internal societal constructions. Recently, painting has become a site for romantic bodies to be in communication through collaboration.
